The United States is the most ARMED SOCIETY in the WORLD..Do you trust that???

Statistics show that america is the most armed society in the world where the majority of the population, 90 guns per 100 people is packing away guns to police themselves..or others..

conversely, their Canadian neighbors is way down the list with 30 guns per 100 people owning arsenal..

However canadians are way more restricted in what kind of guns can be owned such as the AR-15 where it is readily available in the United States but you need permission from the government and police to own one in Canada and it can ONLY be used on firing ranges and not in public places.

Do you trust living in a fully armed, militarized society? let's see if people do

I don't have strong feelings on the subject, since I can understand both sides, but I dislike how violent things can get if the civilian population comes to odds with the government. Imagine if the liberal equivalent of donald trump were elected-- I imagine we'd get more than marches for women or antifa thugs.

It depends, if you live in a non-American country where military service is mandatory and citizens are permitted to own guns then you can generally trust that unfit people would not be able to get their hands on guns in the first place.

i.e. Switzerland, I was about to say South Korea but gun laws are strict there

Depends on the metric.

Guns-per-square feet, probably not. Smaller countries like Israel and Yemen could have a denser concentration.

Guns-per-individual, good chance. This could mean that half the nation is REALLY well armed while the other half are UNARMED though. I still think European countries like Norway and Sweden and Austria (with mandatory enlistment) are a bit safer, but they also have the benefit of being smaller and quieter.

At two per person(usually) Id imagine China has more arms overall

Bullshit. Gun ownership in the US on an individual basis is DOWN. More importantly, individual ownership is far more prevalent in countries like South Africa.

The actual ownership is skewed towards collectors where a small fraction owns a lot of guns. And, afaik, most gun owners tend to own multiple guns.

Armed and militarized aren't even close to being the same thing. Most of the nations with high ownership rates aren't even close to being considered militarized, it's almost always personal defense because the culture is violent (again, South Africa which, in addition to its massive violence issue, tends to lead the world in rapes -- hence people have a *very* good reason to be packing)
