Having lots of games is a curse.

If I had that many games in my library, I wouldn't feel that way.

I do feel that way on Netflix / Hulu though, sometimes it'll take me 20 mins to find something, even though there's a million good things there
Yes, though my collection is not arranged quite as nice as this.

Don't ask.
Yep. But it wasn't always that way. Back before I had a disposable income, I only had maybe thirty games total, and played the hell out of every one of them.

Uh, not exactly. I have way more games than I play, but that's the kind of physical collection you'd see from somebody like AVGN. I don't think even your average hardcore(ish) gamer has a physical collection like that; it's mostly Steam and other digital games.

I think, more importantly, that was also back before digital/indie/$10-$20 new games were really a thing. You'd have to go to a store, and everything came out at $50+ except for shovelware.
Even though I have several games in my backlog, I only focus on one or two I really enjoy.

I only own maybe 7 out of 12 games for the PS3 and we share about 30 games for the PS2. We own about 6 to 8 for the Xbox although only one of these are mine.

Right now I'm only playing one Xbox game, although if one of the nephews visit I will play another game with the kid.

My point is that I have a decent amount of options but will typically play one or two games at any given time.
The second game is mainly played in order to take a break from the first.
Been a murder, over in Riften. Some old lady who runs an orphanage. Those poor children must be heartbroken.
For me, it's that I don't have any new games to play. I enjoy making progress (as long as I find it fun), but I've already done everything there is to do in almost all of the games I have... there aren't even any glitches left to find, as far as I can tell.

No, I don't own a video game collection.

What are gamers?
Ugh... this reminds me that I owned about 95% of the N64 library (in box) and that I sold them for next to nothing to buy PS2/Dreamcast stuff...
