I mean The Godfather 1 in my opinion is the perfect movie. From start to finish. Perfect. The Godfather 2 is almost as good. I change my answer to The Godfather 2

, which is my real recommendation. '80s Eddie Murphy is basically what I was raised on (well, and crime shows like Magnum PI and Matlock)... I remember we had a VHS tape of his "best of SNL" stuff. I still quote things from it to this day. I think the one about how Clarence was the fifth Beatle (and played the saxophone) is probably my favourite sketch from any of those kinds of shows ever.

Would you say that the Arrowverse shows are better?
Ive watched all of the seasons that are on Netflix, I thought they were enjoyable enough to keep me interested.

Id say theyre better but very inconsistent. Like certain seasons in the arrowverse have much better writing than others. I also think they have way too many episodes per season and it leads to a lot of formulaic filler episodes.
Gothams problem is that it is constantly trying too hard to have some new twist so it jumps the shark every few episodes and has the main character completely change his outlook on things multiple times per season.
