In RPGs, do you usually prefer turn-based combat or real-time combat?

ATB is best.

Disagree, I find it's the worst of both worlds.

Can't take the time to think tactically like in true turn-based combat, but still follows its conventions and denies you the freedom of real time combat.

Of course there's examples of good games that had enjoyable combat despite being ATB-like (Baten Kaitos Origins and Chrono Trigger would be my top picks there), but I usually play an ATB game and wish it wasn't that way.
