.....a woman claims she was bumped from her flight iirc and her seat was given to a u.s. congresswoman or was it senator? Sheila lee jackson. The woman claims this was the case, but united denies it of course. It might be a case of he said she said as i'm not sure any side can prove that the other is lying. Edit: I don't think she was bumped from the flight but she claims that united erased evidence of her being booked on the flight in first class despite her having a physical boarding pass. iirc sheila lee jackson has said that this is making such big news, partly because of racism.
