I'm more questioning how 16+25=37.
That said, I do indeed have to question giving a defined sentence for a mental hospital. Keeping her there until she's cleared to leave would make far more sense. Maybe that'll be less than 25 years, maybe more, but defining her stay like that is ignoring the only important determining factor for when she should be released.
