Not a simple majority. But I definitely think it should require at least 2 dissenting opinions to thwart the vast majority of jury members. It's ridiculous that a single stubborn hold-out, possibly someone who can never be swayed from a particular view ("death penalty should never be used"; "cops should never be convicted for actions done while on duty"; etc...) no matter how compelling the reasons/evidence should get to overrule the entire rest of the jury.
If you can't convince even one single other person of your view, you shouldn't get to decide it for the whole jury. I think that's a pretty damn low bar to clear.
