I've beaten vanilla FFX, but only got a few hours into FFX-2. Have never played FFXII. Both are for the PS4, which I'm going to pick up soon. Which one should I pick up?

Tough, I loved both games. I guess FFXII since you've played FFX, but FFX-2 has maybe my favorite battle system in the series. I dunno, get both eventually.

10 is better than 12, but if you've already played it then just go with 12. FF10-2 isn't worth it.

Conclusion: get 12

You don't think the extra stuff in X is worth it?

Honestly there isn't enough extra to justify getting it over a totally new game. The audio drama/sequel included is the most interesting addition to the whole package imo, but it's still just a few minutes of dialogue.

12 seems to have gotten the better remaster honestly. If they hadn't messed up the facial animations and lost all the facial definition in the 10/10-2 remaster (Tidus' face ugh) I would have bought it already as FF10 is the better game imo. But since we're talking about the ps4 versions it's FF 12 all the way.

12 was the game that pretty much turned me from loving JRPGs to absolutely loathing them. Like I literally have not played a JRPG made after 12.

10 and 10-2 I actually liked. The story is crap, but if you get past that the end game is awesome.

X and X2. XII sucks. The combat system is basically the worst aspects of turn-based and real-time, cobbled together in some weird Japanese KotOR knock-off.

I like X more than XII and X-2 is okay at best so as youve already played X id say get XII.

Alternatively get X now as its 20 or less and wait for XII to get a price drop.
