Saw a topic here before about if SAT scores are relatable to i.q. and almost everybody said no, but what about math ability, shit like calculus.......

i suspect there is a correlation because skills that would help you do better in mathematics would also help you succeed on an IQ test. Assuming that's how intelligence is being measured here

yeah you may be right dude, but i saw a poll on this site about if the SAT and ACT are correlated with that shit and almost no one thought that was true. What do you think on the SAT, one?

I think the SAT scores are probably moderately correlated with SAT math scores. However, a lot of doing well on the SATs is more about test taking than it is math (or whatever subject). Perhaps being good at taking tests is correlated with IQs as well, however.

SATs measure knowledge, not IQ. While a high IQ helps you understand ideas and retain knowledge, it's not the same thing.

You should block him then. I'm sure he won't lose any sleep over it. And on topic why would math ability test intelligence but not the SAT? I think most people think the SAT doesn't but that math does, but maybe they both do

There's probably some correlation, as logical reasoning is an area of intelligence that includes math.
