If you want to get tecjnical, probably, but most of them would be anyway as a child conceived out of wedlock is going to hell no matter what they do.

What's the name of that Japanese god/demon (I'm not sure how it works) who punishes children for all eternity if they die to soon causing their parents grief? Because I'm guessing that's where they go.

No, because that's not how it works by any stretch. They'd likely end up in purgatory. However, some doctrines note that children who die before the age of 7 are automatically granted access to heaven because of some clause or another. idk, go to church and ask your priest. This isn't my religion.

Catholicism - They told me not hell, but limbo. Opinions vary. The more hardcore religious say hell, mainstream Catholicism says limbo or heaven.

In all honesty, I think the logical thing is they are sent back to the soul line await another chance at life.....like getting on a rollercoaster and right before it starts it breaks down. You just get to be first in line if they can get it working again. *shrugs* my thoughts anyways.

Besides i don't believe the soul enters them until they have some kind of consciousness. Since i believe your soul is your conscious mind. So as soon as a being is able to think for itself and know it exists, the soul has taken root. This also solves the question if AI robots will have souls. Yes they do and they are also considered GOD's creatures just like how you are considered your grandparents grandchild. Except on a different plain of existence instead of genetics. But hey, like i said, just my crackpot theories here.
