I hate when shopping prices isn't clear and transparent up front.
They lured me with a groupon after I price shopped, then when I get to the checkout the shipping is expensive and there's a separate handling fee. I hate when shopping prices isn't clear and transparent up front.
Also, the website flip flopped from mobile to desktop without reason, and that's just annoying.
As for the extra fee's, every site does that.
Had I known about the extra fees, I would NOT have been surprised by the final price that only shows up at the last stage (of 5) during checkout. Sadly, they got my money today, but NEVER again.
I did buy for Mother's Day but I'm not having flowers delivered on Mother's Day - to avoid the extra $15+ fee.
Also, I didn't even include the taxes in my description of disappointment. I'm upset for extra rediculous charges like 'handling' that should be a part of the base price. Also, if I'm planing to purchase and give a delivery date of June 1st (which I did for another occasion) then they could totally use some extra cheep USPS shipping instead of their over priced service for a bear, a card, and a box of chocolates.
not all of them, and i think proflowers is one of the ones who don't

You sound cheap.
Did you read what I said? Extra handling for a bear, chocolates, and a card. Delivered June 1st.
I don't need a local florist for such a delivery, but I don't want to spend more money on their stuff. I just wanted to use the rest of my groupon money and be done, but the extra expenses made that plan a no-go.
You sound cheap. It's not about being cheap. It's about transparency in pricing. You get to the final step in checkout and suddenly the ledger is more than double what you expected.

That doesn't make it OK. You know that old saying, 'If everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you?'

In this case it is more like "If everyone in your office drinks coffee, are you going to yell at Jane from accounting for doing it?"
No. People should be striving to make things better, not choosing a bad option over a good option because "everyone else does it."
All the charges should be included in the price of the item, up front, without showing up at the last stage of your purchase.
