Still going through FF7 rebirth, and I just got done with the queen's blood....

Boat tournament. I'm going through all this blind so I still don't know whats coming......played against the bro in round 1 and bodied him, decided to play again tifa for round 2 and so she got pounded (thinking I should have played barret though since he was talking shit, lol. Not the pounding). Murked madame M for round 3, chucked chadley in the recycle bin for round 4, and played that lady from the bouncer for the finals match.

I swear I absolutely lost my shit when red 13 popped up, lmao. The moonwalk, the shuffling over to sit down with him pulling the other leg over to cross his legs, that whole segment was perfect. I remembered red 13 wore the shinra outfit in the OG game, but for some reason I thought the gag wasn't going to pop up for the remake....I should have known better.

All the debate over the story changes and padding aside, I do really respect Remake and Rebirth for embracing all of the goofy shit that the original FF7 had and even adding in some extra goofy shit too. I can imagine it was pretty tempting to make it a lot more serious and grim, particularly given what I've heard about Advent Children, but they gave us a trans rights boy band dance number and I applaud them for it.

Red is great and I loved that scene and could not stop laughing. I hope there's a way to carry over your cards into the next game because I spent a lot of time earning those cards.

This game is great. I already know I am not going to do the hard mode playthrough no time soon though once I beat this initial run.....game is definitely a lengthy one.

That card game was my addiction. I knew it would be the moment they introduced it.

I took me way too long to figure out that one card carnival puzzle.

I didn't realize you can level up the card space even if a card gets destroyed, so I sat there wandering what the hell for like 40 minutes before the lightbulb in my noggin cut on.
