You do realize that one of the sides in the middle east literally wants to take it over and not allow the others ideology to exist right? Should they be successful do you really think they'd stop there? Is this ringing any other historic bells for you?
Plus keep in mind that the Islamic fubdemantalists despise many western values and see us as spitting in the face of their god by merely existing the way we do.
