First date, it's usually the person who asks who pay. Usually "Hi I'm Addled, let's go to dinner you can pay" doesn't have that hook to get a girl interested.
After a few dates or even starting at the 2nd, usually it's the one who suggest the dinner, says they want to pay, grabs the check first or maybe the both pay.
