I think it's called radiant or something. Hot water runs under my floors constantly and the heat radiates upward.
Damn. Hows the water bill?
It's generally called under-floor heating in the UK, FWIW. It can use gas (not petrol!) or water, here, but with electric-powered heating we usually have radiators filled with static water & the electric boiler heats it.
