A while back, maybe almost a year, my great aunt gave me a ring with a real diamond in it. I loved it. Once day at school however, I was walking to my third or fourth class and I noticed the ring somehow slipped off of my finger. (It was a little loose, but not loose that I figure it would go around my finger joint and fall off unfelt)...

Well, I never found it and it crushed me.

Sometime at a later date, she gave me a set of earrings with real diamond in them too. Here I am, sitting, wearing them and I am about to pull them out.... and one is missing.

Fml.

I'm just not allowed to have hand-me-downs from relatives. I don't understand how the fuck an earring would fall out like that so easily on my second day wearing them whereas, my steel studs never fall out.

I mean what the fucking fuck. When I realized it wasn't there, my heart sank.

I should just never wear jewelry again. I'm just fucking awful with it. Especially jewelry other family members give me. :(
