The dungeons and field s are basically hallways/ featureless with the occasional simple puzzle

The story and characters are good

The combat is good, but can be very button mashy.

Equipment system is total trash.

In-game content is actually decent this time, both costumes and Minigames

It's a very solid tales game. If you are really worried, this game goes on sale fairly often
