Miles Edgeworth asks Gumshoe to look out for him as he follows through on Mr Amano's request that he bring the ransom money. The kidnapper on the phone is using a voice changer, and asks Miles to go to a few different locations before dropping off the cash. The Proto Badger that was at the gate has followed him and beans him over the head!
That part with the Proto Badger spooked me a little back in the day when I played it past Midnight
