Trelve posted... 1080i is a garbage resolution. Try 1080p or try a optician.
hey now 1080i was pretty amazin circa 2005. its actually the same resolution as 1080p but for crts/older sets. so TC is using some crt hd tv dinosaur from mid 2000s , no wonder he cant see the difference. 1080i hasnt been a thing for awhile except for cable broadcasts, its probably even downscaling to 720p. 720p/1080i tvs have a native resolution of 1366x768. So it's often pointless to view something at 1080i because the tv has to downscale to 720p and even de-interlace.
