I mean, it's a drama presented as a black comedy. I kinda felt like... aw what the hell, this might be fun. And fun it was for all the wrong reasons.

I've actually seen it. It gets everything so wrong it's glorious. Movie doesn't even have a decent rooftop set.
Yeah, that doesn't even look like an actual rooftop. Very much done on the cheap.

Have you read The Disaster Artist? Greg Sestero wrote it about his experience working on The Room, as well as how he and Tommy Wiseau met and became friends. It was my favourite book I read last year. I haven't seen the film adaptation, but I understand the film is more from Tommy's perspective than the book.
I haven't, but I was reading about that as I did that write-up. It sounds fascinating, and I definitely want to read it. May have to go to the library that has it to pick it up. (I have two libraries I go to when I need to; the larger one has it, the smaller one doesn't.)
