It definitely hit me when one of the girls said something like "I went from a 5 year relationship with a boy to another 4-5 year relationship with another boy, I have to learn how to know myself now that I'm single."
And I remember thinking wow I can't even imagine thinking I don't "know myself" or whatever. But I guess a lot of people are like that, I know a ton of friends that are pretty much always in a relationship.
I'll never understand people who don't ever "know" themselves because they rely on others so much. Not being alone is basically a non-thought to them because they don't want to be "lonely" (stupid human weakness).
I'm complete opposite, like you (although I've been in relationships). I'd be more confused about changing the way I do things in a relationship since I'm so used to being alone.
Yeah I was kind of taken aback when I heard her say that, but I realize that a lot of people are like that.
