I don't know, Beto was pretty close last time. Now with this dumbass event(Beto volunteering and helping out seniors while Cruz is vacationing in Cancun), it might be enough for dumbass Texans to open their eyes.

I hope you are both right, but I just don't see it happening. Most people will have zero knowledge of how Beto is doing more during this period (not sure he will even run against him in 2024) and that is a long time from now as well. Also, you just start talking about gun control and that is enough for millions of Texans to vote for the guy with the R next to his name. Maybe at least another republican can challenge him in 2024, I think that might work.
