Portland has a fuck ton of microbreweries the amount of selection here is insane. When you lump Bend into the mix the number goes up even more. We basically revolutionized the beer industry from being all about horrible shit like Coors light and other big name brands to smaller breweries.

California, 268 craft breweries. ...
Washington, 136 craft breweries. ...
Colorado, 130 craft breweries. ...
Oregon, 124 craft breweries. ...
Michigan, 102 craft breweries. ...
Pennsylvania, 93 craft breweries. ...
Wisconsin, 75 craft breweries.

Also don't give us that horse shit that you revolutionized the beer industry. Microbreweries as we know them in America started in California with Anchor Brewing Company.

In the USA, award-winning homebrewer K. Florian Klemp wrote in 2008 that the craft beer movement was revived in 1965subsequent to an earlier American erawhen Fritz Maytag acquired the Anchor Brewing Company in San Francisco, United States (U.S.), thereby saving it from closure.

The turnaround of the Anchor Brewing Company in 1965, after it was acquired by Maytag, is considered a turning point for American beer, due to the revival of craft beer in the U.S., where microbrewing boomed after then-president Jimmy Carter de-regulated the beer market in 1979.

Oregon has a more dense population of breweries that you can see from the road probably. California is all basic flat lined nuclear explosion look, so there's lots of companies in the middle of fucking nowhere.
