Then they started to tie it into ~~the Jedi and Skywalkers because of course they did. Because we cant have a Star Wars story without them~~ I hated Book of Boba Fett. My head canon for what went down there is that Dave really wanted to make a Boba show but Disney said no, so he made Mando instead. Then when Mando blew up in popularity Disney gave the green light for Boba, but Dave already blew his load on Mando so he had to come up with something else for Boba Fett to do. S1 took a little bit to get going, but it was still intriguing enough from the start that it kept me coming back; even by the 2nd or 3rd ep I was really surprised at how whip-smart the dialogue was. And I get to pat myself on the back for getting hooked on the show before the hype train set in. Though I gotta give credit to my brother for suggesting it. I had no interest in giving it a try for the usual reasons; but we needed something new to watch as a family and we all like Star Wars, so I said "eh, why not." I gotta give the edge to s2 though. I was absolutely glued to the TV every single ep. Kleya actually gave Yoda a run for his money as my personal favorite SW character (and the real-life backstory there is just icing on the cake). I get that it led into the final arc but yeah, the middle arc was by far the weakest. The sisters got very annoying and the plot was too thin for 4 episodes. Demigod_Elessar 11/13/25 11:21:25 AM #35:	Andor season 2 is the best Star Wars Disney has produced since Rogue One. It was absolutely phenomenal. Obi-Wan was terrible as a series. But I watched a fan-edited 2 hour movie about a year ago, that got rid of a lot of the silly scenes and pacing issues. And it was really good. So I would rank that up there, but again, not as the series, but for the fan edit. Mando season 1 and 2 were great.
