Kamala Khan feels likes the soul of the MCU atm imo.

Ms.Marvel wasn't too bad, but the other two were pretty bad imo.

I liked She-Hulk, tbh.

Ms. Marvel was also fun; the only part I didn't care for was when they went back in the past (?)

it's been a while since I've seen it.

I still haven't seen The Marvels. But Ms Marvel was great. She Hulk too. The anti woke influencers lost their minds over She Hulk. I think they didn't understand its point. Its supposed to be silly. She Hulk was one of Marvel's comedy characters (the other was Howard The Duck) before Deadpool even existed

One funny thing about the She Hulk hate was how in the trailer we see her claim she's more skilled than Bruce. In the actual show, in the complete scene, Bruce ends up showing her she is wrong. I think she throws a rock or something. And then he throws a bigger rock. Into space. Or something like that

The anti wokers never actually watched the show so they didn't know

She-Hulk was actually pretty good, Ms. Marvel and The Marvels both were solid but suffered from weak villains.

Yelena is the soul of the MCU right now IMO.

They weren't bad, but they happened to be genres that the main marvel demographic just didnt like. Ms marvel was a coming of age drama, shehulk was comedy and Brie Larson...just happens to be the worst casting for a main Marvel character.

I definitely want more Kamala Khan and She Hulk.

Haven't watched the TV shows, but I think The Marvels was a weak movie. I agree that the villain was forgetable, and it was kind of annoying that Captain Marvel was nerfed for most of the movie. Didn't like the Bollywood segment either lol. I think the movie really suffered for being developed during Covid-19 (if I'm not mistaken).

I've only seen She-Hulk but it was pretty good, definitely agree that it got too much hate.

Are these things examples of Marvel at their best? If not then not sure why the audience need make excuses for it.

Ms Marvel I give a pass because its just a kids show anyway. They werent targeting all age groups.

Not the best, just overhated.

She hulk: 7. Overheated for sure. I had fun. It was unique. It was living the life of a hulk woman. Hated the ending. Hulk, abomination, wong and daredevil all got good scenes here. The beginning with her bonding with hulk was really good

Ms marvel: 6. Overrated by critics. I think fans don't hate it (the ones that actually watched). I think it's a tad overrated if anything. The middle 3 episodes or so lost me but it ended in a way where it saved itself

The marvels: 6. Fun but forgettable. I had a blast watching it but there was nothing deep there. A little overhated. It wasn't the worst of the MCU but in the bottom third

I liked all three of them, though The Marvels is way below the others. She-Hulk telegraphing the manosphere hate they got was some beautiful shit though.

Nah, they all sucked. The girl who plays Ms Marvel is charming, but She Hulk was a comedy that wasn't funny, and the Marvels was a terribly written mess where even the director who co-wrote it insulted herself by saying the script sucked.

The Marvels was just okay. A reasonably fun movie but not a must-see or anything. It's overhated in that some people talk like it was some horrible thing and it wasn't that.

I liked She-Hulk. My main complaint about it is that the episodes are so short.

The Marvels.. Honestly wasn't terrible but it wasn't great, Its villain felt weak and honestly i think there should have been another Solo Carol film before bringing in Kamala and Monica

Ms marvel was great, The only negative i have for it was the villains were kinda weak, And my annoyance about how they have been overly shoehorning Kamala in with the X-men in the comics since then

She-Hulk.. Is a mixed bag, Some parts annoyed me, I really disliked that the villain was exactly what i thought it was going to be, Who i thought it was going to be as soon as i saw him, And for the reasons i expected but there were still some fun moments, The shear hate towards she hulk twerking in a few second long post credit scene will never not entertain me

I've always liked She Hulk, but i do wish the show had better law scenes and focused more on her hero career as well.

The ending actually reminded me of classic She Hulk gags.

There's an issue where she rips through the comic page and crosses a couple pages of hilarious fake ads to rip into another page and into the villain's lair.

There's an issue where an old corny villain called the living eraser ends up erasing everything but her and she ends up yelling at the artist and writer to put things back and they just draw a wooden crate and she yells at them some more until they redraw everything and they never continue the fight.

She complains to the writer near constantly.

It was probably the best joke in the entire show and extremely She-Hulk.

The whole managing anger speech hate felt odd. Its not like she was saying anything against Bruce, she was just explaining how she had to do it every day because of things like catcalling, harassment, being perceived as difficult etc.

The hate for that bit almost exclusively came from antiwoke dipshits who got their opinions from folks like Critical Drinker.

Same people who whined about Shulkie being "stronger" than Hulk based on their rock throwing scene while leaving out him throwing a rock into orbit after she throws farther than his initial half-hearted toss.

I was excited for She-Hulk because of the premise (we don't get enough superhero lawyer comedies) but they fumbled it.

I loved Kamala in the comics but skipped the show because I don't really watch a lot of marvel shows and was feeling burned after trying Moon Knight and She-Hulk and finding them boring >_>

It was always overhated, I did not really enjoy She Hulk but it was nowhere nearly as bad as the internet made it to be

Ms Marvel was really good, though I don't remember much hate outside of them stupidly changing her powers. But maybe I just stayed away from that part of the internet, since the comics get the same bigoted hate despite being some of the best stuff Marvel did

Some of the plot points in The Marvels didn't make much sense.
Ms. Marvel also had a few plot holes.

I didn't hate the shows, I have rewatched them a couple of times, just they could have been better.

Were any of them well-rated? Most I heard as a positive was Ms Marvel had a decent popcorn flick.

I do agree going younger is the way to go. I liked Miss America from the recent Dr Strange, too.

I enjoyed watch Ms Marvel and She-Hulk. The both didn't stick the landing with the final episode, but that's just like TV for you.

I did not enjoy The Marvels at all, though Iman Vellani was just as good as she was in her show.

Were any of them really well-rated? Most discourse I remember hearing hearing were people whining about a twerking scene in of them.

I enjoyed all of them. My only issue with She-Hulk was that the courtroom scenes were complete nonsense, but Daredevil has the same issue. Both The Marvels and Ms. Marvel could have been better, but I can't think of any specific complaints with either of them off the top of my head.

The Marvels is definitely underrated. It has one of my all time favorite action scenes in the MCU, the first time all 3 of them start switching.

Very unique and creative scene that is made 1000x better with the stellar use of the song RATATA by Skrillex and Missy Elliot.

I want to know how TC decides which account to post on.

She Hulk is easily right behind Loki and Wandavision. Ms Marvel was fine but Kamala was a massive highlight. The Marvels was so much better than Captain Marvel (especially because of Kamala) and generallly just a fun movie. I like to give the benefit of the doubt that haters aren't just manosphere dweebs but are just entitled nerds.

It's really baffling to me that the scene got hate. Her point is that Bruce had trouble controlling Hulk because he had trouble controlling his anger.

Bruce's backstory is that he is SO bad at controlling his anger that he balled it up into a split personality.

She's absolutely right that she's better at controlling it than he is

Iman Vellani's portrayal of Kamala Kahn deserves mountains of flowers, her charisma, energy, and overall performance brings so much to the character and it's sad she doesn't get the respect she deserves cause of bigotry.

the ending yeah that did not work

she-hulk had not been going full meta 4th wall breaks before then she broke the 4th wall yes but it was more subdued

and it wound up hurting the point it was trying to make

just have her be a lawyer and stop the villain that way and then look at the camera and go "what where you expecting some big all out brawl this aitn that kinda show"

That WAS the resolution to the conflict

The entire point of her breaking the fourth wall and going to Marvel Studios was to tell them that the ending they wrote was way too convoluted and most of the plotlines didn't make any sense, and she wanted a more grounded and realistic ending for her lawyer show and not a superhero CGI brawl. She was literally saying since episode one that she just wants to be in a law comedy show and not a superhero show.

I had a feeling over time the post endgame titles would be looked at more fondly and this topic is proof

Its like when people claim phase 1 was amazing and forget four of the six titles were Thor, cap America 1, hulk, iron man 2

The thing that helps Phase 1 is that the first five movies all led into the Avengers, so in people's minds even the weaker ones get equated with Avengers which elevates them all.

Manosphere losers needed everyone to hate them so even without watching them I knew those shows got more hate than was warranted.

Yeah that happens but it doesn't make the individual movies better

Though maybe the same will happen with these things after Doomsday and secret wars

She-Hulk was awesome and if she's not getting another season, they should start using her in the Deadpool movies.
