Both awesome games and I love both series but RDR2 is my favorite game of all time that I think is a masterpiece and with a couple small changes would be perfection to me. I think it is the best world ever created. So GTA V was amazing, but I'm taking RDR2 every time. --- PSN ID: sled_dogs76 60" Pioneer Kuro Elite PRO151FD, Yamaha RX-V3900 A/V Receiver, Oppo DV983-H player. Love both games but have to go with RDR2. Red Dead 1 was one of my favorite games last generation, and I was blown away by the sequel. Probably the single greatest, most "alive" game world I've ever played in, with amazing characters and story. In between missions, I would often go off road and just explore or wander around for an hour or more at a time. Not necessarily looking for any side quests or stranger missions (though sometimes being rewarded with them), but just because of all of the little interactions and random events you could discover. --- Iron Maiden is my religion ... Red dead redemption 2 overall. (And especially red dead online. I played red dead online so, so much back when it was actually getting updates). With GTA5 I wanted way more heist missions then what we actually got during the story. --- GTag:MadDogg730 PSN:lMadDogg NNID:xMadDoggx NS friend code:5313-0564-0819 Go buy cyber shadow like right now. ... I have almost no attachment to GTAV and overall thought it was forgettable compared to past entries. RDR2 is a masterpiece of a game. --- We're a forest of lives, but we grow tall and wide. We'll never be cut down. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Mad-Dogg posted... Red dead redemption 2 overall. (And especially red dead online. I played red dead online so, so much back when it was actually getting updates). I skip online 99.99% of the time. I played the hell out of RDR2 online because what was so great was it was viable to play solo. It was just an extension on single player. I fucking loved setting up the camp and doing the trader role which allowed me to do my favorite activity which was just to hunt. Then I got to deliver the goods in the wagon. The supply restocking missions were fun too. Then the bounty hunting, the moonshiner stuff, the naturalist role with missions and like 40 additional legendary animals. Then you had dynamic events, stranger missions, and other missions from people on the map and so much stuff and you didn't have to interact with a single person and rarely even saw anybody else. The online was fucking great. I swear if they released a ps5 specific RDR2 game with improvements I'd buy it again and jump back into the online. I had an absolutely blast playing online. I loved all the unique horses, saddles, and outfits that came with each role and the fact they gave you tons of money and gold to buy whatever you wanted. It was really well done. --- PSN ID: sled_dogs76 60" Pioneer Kuro Elite PRO151FD, Yamaha RX-V3900 A/V Receiver, Oppo DV983-H player. Coming soon: 2 Seaton Submersives from Mark Seaton ... GTA V is great and a lot of fun. RDR2 is a masterpiece. It's been 7 years and no one has come close to the realness of RDR 2's world. And Arthur is an incredible character (at least as a good guy... I could never bring myself to play him as bad). --- This user is awesome!: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/user/gamefaqs-user?account=12351915135 ... Copied to Clipboard!

It was just an extension on single player.I did the exact same thing. Like 80 percent of the time I was solo just......enjoying the world, lmao. Like how you have those people who would play stuff like no man's sky or minecraft for their vibe game, red dead online was mine. My favorite role was definitely bounty hunting (really enjoyed the legendary bounties they eventually added, and then they let us get our own wagon lol), but hunting and treasure hunting was fun as hell too. I used to play a lot of the lobby events related the bounty hunting and treasure hunting too just to do it. (Including condor egg. I got so good at condor egg that I used to carry around stacks of money from all my wins). Doing the trader runs. Getting all the clothes just for fashion. Full stable of horses. Actually completing all those battle pass things they had (with the older daily system they had this stuff didn't even feel like a drag to do. It was mad easy to make progress with it). Man I loved me some red dead online. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/a/adcb2935.jpg --- GTag:MadDogg730 PSN:lMadDogg NNID:xMadDoggx NS friend code:5313-0564-0819 Go buy cyber shadow like right now. ...
