She has said she is currently in a relationship. The app claims she is currently online. What am I to do with this information?

She's the new one in a team of 3 that now includes her and we all talked about that stuff during the extensive downtime we had during our professional development days.

  1. assume shes cheating
  2. call her out in front of everyone at a meeting
  3. find out shes in an open relationship

100% the right answer.

You barely know this woman and you know even less about her social life. For all you know she claims to have a boyfriend to ward off a weirdo at work. Or they are in an open relationship. Or maybe she is just regular old cheating. But absolutely nothing good will come of you doing anything with that information. It will burn you.

Which dating app? There's a chance she might be in an open relationship, or maybe she is looking. If the relationship is fairly new, then she might have not deactivated her account.

You can either choose to bring it up in a innocent joking way, or not mention it at all. If you want to be on good terms with her, I'd say nothing.

Ignore it.

Unless you two have a casual enough relationship where poking fun at each other every now and then is perfectly fine. Then right swipe for the lulz.

I do definitely believe she has a boyfriend. She's dropped too many specific details about him for me to assume it's merely a way to repel men. That being said, I plan to ignore this like you suggest. I just don't do these dating apps typically and I'm not familiar with how to approach this.
