I mean it doesn't resist phys or fire so a Burnice disorder team should get the job done. From experience, Piper is a bit too weak for it but I dont think Jane or Alice would have that issue. In fact, Alice might be able to solo because she procs disorder on herself?

I already used my Alice team on the 3rd DA boss. I got close to 20k on that one. I forget who it was since I did it a while ago

Koraidon, Miraidon, and terastal Terapagos look good, especially shiny. (Well, Koraidon and Miraidon look good. The jurys still out of terapagos)

They still make some good designs. They just dont put the effort into anything else. Also damn this Stage 7 of Shiyu is tough for me. I guess they didnt want S Anby team for the electric side and wanted you to have Yanagi

There's was another one that was....Ice Phys? Not sure what was going on there, doesn't seem to be much of anything that combos those yet as far as I know. Just did Jane/Alice and it worked.

I suppose not every two weakness enemy has to be built specifically for a team that hits both those weaknesses.

True, but its also got very few units. If you take away Astra you almost entirely kill Ether too

All 3 units in 2.3 are Rupture based, Rupture is gonna be just fine.

Honestly the game does feel like it needs an additional element. Maybe taking Wind out from the prerelease beta was a mistake.

Obol Squad has good energy/chemistry in that video. Its nice to just see them all together like that.

I don't play anymore but since SEED's initial reveal looked promising when I was still, I was curious how it would progress. Turning it into another anime waifu is incredibly disappointing but expected. At least have them be like, a duo of two characters working together like the other upcoming Obol girl with the cool tail. Going forward I'll probably just occasionally scout out news on future characters just to see how they look, as sometimes they really nail it with a character.

Got my Deadly Assault 6 stars. Still only have an A for Shiyu stage 7 though. I tried Alice/Yuzuha/Jane for the first half and S Anby/Pulchra/Trigger for the second half and just cant clear it fast enough

An absolutely insane amount of luck.

So....I'm pretty close to the end of the patch I think, I'm liking the characters themselves and the story is fine, yeah...but it really feels like this patch was lower budget than the usual stuff, or maybe just rushed? Scenes just fading into eachother abruptly, what seems like major interactions from character that haven't gotten much major screen time in a while being handled as unvoiced, on the map standing cycle conversations....just feels a bit off.

Like, a really major CG cutscene event just happened and then it just fades to black to everyone standing on the beach and a quest to go talk to everyone. Doesn't sound that wierd but it is in context. And that includes tons of characters who were not in the prior scene at all and are now just standing around here all of a sudden!

This is dumb.

I had a feeling this was what was going to happen for a couple hours now but this is dumb.

Feeling like this is probably the worst patch since launch, storywise.

Just a clusterfuck of writing and unearned "payoff". I felt like parts of 2.1 felt like there might be some rewrites going in in the background, and I am more confident than ever that they're having some confusion of fighting about the story over on the dev side of things. Too many scenes that felt like they should have been super important that were just tossed in. That last one in one fight was probably the coolest thing in ZZZ today, but it was sandwhiched by such drek. Why is Yixuan here AGAIN for the last fight of a patch, AGAIN forced into a team she has no connection or synergy with both narratively or combatively? How do you go from that cinematic fight to them follow it up with a fucking standing around zero animation hologram scene for Carole Arna? The letter from Isolde at the end felt like a slap in the face, like "well we know this was a bit of a mess so we'll just have Isolde spell it out in a letter like the end of that Lonely Island "Ooh Watcha Say" sketch, despite the fact that everything that happened was as simple as it could be, it was just lamely presented to us.

Man. Honestly I'm kind mad. I like the characters for the patch a lot and they were fun as fuck to play but this just wasn't good.

It's also real fucking buggy. Game has a ton of issues transitioning between cutscenes and load times were way longer than they usually are.

Sounds like I'm definitely putting it off until after Silksong and Nod-Krai. Maybe they'll have fixed some of it by then?

These two new Drive sets an upgrade on anyone as a 2 or 4 piece? Soldier 11 might benefit from the attack one at least

The support set is bis on Yuzuha and I think every support that can't abuse Astral Voice.

Pretty sure I heard the other set is a trap on everyone but SEED

I dunno how it would be a trap on Soldier 11 with the set saying this:

(2)Increases Basic Attack DMG by 15%.
(4)Increases Basic Attack DMG by 20%. When equipped by an Attack character, using an EX Special Attack or Ultimate will further increase Basic Attack DMG by 20% for 25s. Repeated triggers reset the duration.

Soldier 11 is basically just basic attack strings and using Ex Attack or Ultimate for easier fire application with her basic isnt she?

I think it's fine but other sets are just better. Damage% gets easily oversaturated on some characters.

And once Orphie releases I can't imagine she'll have issues with Inferno Metal uptime anymore
