Nothingburger unfortunately. While this diagnosis would be big trouble for a normal person (this plus a blood clot has a pretty significant mortality rate within two years) Trump will be on premium blood thinners and have the best round-the-clock healthcare available to any human on the planet.

So less than zero chance of this developing into anything.

As others have noted this is likely two things. First it's getting to the stage it can't be hidden and his MAGA base are all conspiracy nutters so he's getting ahead of the conspiracies. Second to try and distract from the Epstein stuff that refuses to go away (and likely the Epstein stuff not going away might be why he or someone advising him realized he'd better get ahead of this now).

The leg swelling is peculiar. They said he had an echocardiogram done which was "normal" but I'd like to know what his ejection fraction was. Bilateral leg swelling is typically what you find in someone with congestive heart failure. Basically your heart doesn't pump blood efficiently which can lead to less blood going to the kidneys so those don't work as well too. Subsequently you begin to retain water/fluid that can accumulate within the pulmonary system and/or the periphery.

I'm only saying this because the Trump team are pathological liars so questioning what they say is always the right call to make.
