My takeaway is that it's not a movie aimed at 40+ year-olds and that it's meant for a younger audience, like preteen/early teen and younger. My kids had a blast. Other kids around their age were having fun. I thought it was enjoyable but it really wasn't my thing. Wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again but if my kids stream it at home I wouldn't mind sitting in with them Agree that Jack and Jason have good chemistry and did a solid job given what they had to work with. Honestly this is the type of shit that should win acting Oscars it's a lot more heavy lifting for an actor when they're literally carrying the movie It was pretty fucking weird at parts.
