I think only Murr is being accused of interactions with a minor, from what I can tell.

Joe's accusations seem to stem from one of their employees.

My sister was showing me one of the girls that made the accusation and her account doesnt seem too credible.

Dang my wife loves the show and those guys. Enough that she wanted to see them live. She's gonna be disappointed to learn these guys aren't so wholesome

Those guys are probably the first people I'd expect to harass a minor.

If she didn't report it to the police, odds are she's lying for clout. The contrary is very rare. It's such a stupid thing to do because it's an easy defamation lawsuit. The defendant has to prove that the accusations are true, which is very hard to do without a proper investigation, and impossible when it's a lie. The plaintiff only has to prove that the defamation caused damage.

I don't see the problem if that's the case. He didn't groom her. Of course, if they did harass them, then it's a different problem.

Opportunity. When someone makes accusations on social media, and it goes viral, other people want a piece of that clout and jump on the bandwagon. It's not the same phenomenon you see when additional people report a sexual crime to the police after someone else did it. They didn't do it before because they were scared of not being believed or being the victim of a smear campaign. Once the first person complains to the police, it opens the floodgates for other victims to do the same.

Sad about Murr, expected it from Joe.

I could only watch a little of that show, because it set off my cringe/secondhand embarrassment pretty hard.

It's disappointing about Joe for me, because he was my favorite.

But that's also because he came off as the "deplorable scumbag" of the bunch.

Looks like that might actually be closer to the mark than I would've thought.

I mean, 19 is an adult, so it was really just the fact he was hitting on an employee (which can constitute workplace harassment).

And if I'm reading the second accusation right, he started flirting when she was an adult, too. Unless the accusation is there was grooming happening between ages 15 and 18.
