Im looking into some local places that offer their own insurance plans if your insurance doesnt cover it. For example, I have heard about one that you pay like $150 a year and you apparently get massive discounts. I broke a tooth (no pain, thankfully) and had to have it filed down, get a root canal, then have a post put in. Today they will finally put the crown in (about a month and a half later) and its so far cost me $1758. To fix one freaking tooth. Of course I was denied Obamacare, so everythings expensive. On the positive side of things, I had a severe phobia of dental procedures based on experiences with 20th century dentistry. I was terrified about the root canal, but that actually didnt hurt and I just used mental techniques to get through it. Ive heard that having the crown put in doesnt hurt, so hopefully they wont have to numb me again. ... Copied to Clipboard!
