Here we go! After four months of preliminaries, we've narrowed it down to our final 128 -- now to narrow it down to the single best Pokemon.

You all know how this works, I've run enough of these damn tournaments. Vote for your favorite of the two Pokemon presented; the winner will move on in the bracket, the loser gets to stay in a PC Box for all eternity.

Rounds last 24 hours, give or take; sometimes I'm not always at my computer right on time, or have to post the next one a little early so I can move on to other parts of my day. It might also happen that I'm not able to post the next round on time at all, but I'll at least end the poll if I'm able to in that case.

If there's a tie that refuses to break, it will be decided with a quick Lightning Round. I'll go over what that entails if and when it comes up.

Hisuian Zoroark is one of my fav Pokmon of all time

This one is tough, but I'll go with Miraidon

Actually, I dislike Miraidon more. Looks like it belongs in Duel Monsters or Digimon.

This is a plot point in Violet. Miraidon is Paradox Cyclizar with the Paradox name Iron Serpent. It's not supposed to look like a normal monster.

Never was really a Miraidon fan. He's alright, but I like Zoroark a lot more.

This may be kinda late to ask at this point, but are the Galarian and Hisuian totally unique and their own pokemon? Or are they related to the originals somehow? And why not just make new pokemon if they are unique? I haven't played the last few gens.

They're regional variations of Pokmon, so they are related. They pretty much just adapted to different environments.

The rationale behind them is that the Pokedex was growing too large such that we can curb the expansion by tweaking existing designs. Some of the redesigns are really great, so it's been fun to see what variations and unusual evolutions they come up with.

Also a regional form is typically so different with typings, stat distribution, available abilities, and movesets that they're functionally a new species of Pokemon.

Hisuian Zoroark by far. Probably the best regional variant yet imo. I dont dislike Miraidon though.

Miradon is a nice looking Legendary, and your best pal.

The Zoroark is just more tiresome dog/fox pandering.

I went with HZ but it was a toss up for me. They're both really great and if you had asked on a different day I may have voted differently.

I voted H-Zoroark thinking it was going against Koraidon, but Miraidon is a lot closer. Still H-Z though, that typing is incredible.

Both are awful designs. But I guess I'll go with the motorcycle.

H-Z is fantastic with fantastic hair. Miraidon is alright.

Hisuian Zoroark easily. H Zoroark is one of the coolest pokeymans in the last few gens. The crazy wispy hair, the werewolfy stance, the scary eye, the weird cool colors, and also Normal/Ghost is a neat type combo. I love H Zoroark.

Some Pokemon start out as the original form and only evolve into regional variants in their respective games. Like the starters in Legend Arceus along with Scyther into Kleavor, Petilil into Hisuin Lilligant, Pikachu into Alolan Raichu, Cubone into Alolan Marowak and there's probably a few more. Then there's the separate type of variant where the entire line is different such as Meowth having the original, Alolan and Galarian variants.
