Is there any difference between the order of a Pokemon's typing?

Like is there even one useless difference out there within the game if a Pokemon was Water/Grass instead of Grass/Water?

No. It is entirely just a flavor thing. So a water/grass is "more water" than a grass/water.

It affects where the pokemon is listed on the type's pokemon list on bulbapedia.

There is clear intention behind it, but attempts to explain the trends have largely failed. There is some merit in viewing the first listed type as the primary type, but it's useless information. I don't even think the default Tera typing is based on the order.

I wanna say that wild pokeymans with two types in SV will generally have the first type as their tera type, but I am very much talking out of my ass in saying it. I'm pretty sure evolving and changing types won't change tera types and you can change a mon's tera type with items, so it's definitely not always the case that type 1 = tera type.

Edit: Ninja'd by someone who probably knows better lol.

Looked into it and this seems to be correct. You can catch a dual type pokeyman with either type as its tera type, even outside of raids and wild tera mons.
