Yeah, that is my problem with him too. Like, who fucking cares, its a cart. They aren't fucking up the environment or murdering people in a war, they are just being a minor inconvenience where the highest possible consequence is someone's car gets a scratch on it. This just gets a big who fucking cares from me.

What cart narc does is only a slight step up from your typical youtube pranksters but this time he can "grift" because his cause is "noble" and I get it. Most of us are millenials so we know what's like to work "low wage" jobs where customers act like pieces of shits. Whether it's dealing with Karens because an order got wrong (too much ketchup or putting the lettuce above the patty rather than below it), customers not putting back the items in the right place, trying to return an item that is not returnable, getting mad their coupons/discounts aren't working at the cash register because it's expired, attempting to price match with Amazon when a store doesn't have that policy, etc. So seeing someone getting their comeuppance because of these annoyance can be satisfying.

With that said, it's still harassment and Cart Narc has delved into territories that is unacceptable like sexual harassment and following people to their houses. In fact, he even said it on one of the The Woody show episode (98.7fm here in LA) that he did some of the "no no" because that gets people to watch his content because (he admits) he's looking for a certain reaction that will get clicks on youtube. He also said plenty of times he gets "busts" because he would get days where no one responds to him and just flat out ignores him and he knows that makes for terrible youtube content, so he's sometimes forced to find ways to get people angry (hence the magnets he loves to throw on people cars). In fact, Sebastian says that a lot of his expenses is dealing with his lawyer because he tries to muddy the water on how much he can get away with things before it becomes illegal. This is shit he admits on the radio show. Like I'm sorry, this feels more and more like those youtube prankster crap where they harass people for content and cart narc feels no more different than them.

I leave the cart in a empty Parking spot sometimes because I find it amusing and most people do that here.

I don't think that woman deserved a magnet. If I'm understanding the situation, it wasn't her cart, and she moved it from where it was blocking her car to an empty space, which was at least a slightly less obstructive place for the cart to be. If the cart had already been in that space and she just ignored it, would he give her a magnet just for being insufficiently helpful? If he'd do that, he could probably find a reason to give anybody a magnet.

Harassing people to make weird internet videos is bad. Anyone who enjoys this content gets a serious side eye from me.

I'm assuming he has a lawyer who tells him what can get away with but being foreigner in another country with the sole purpose of anatagonzing people is taking a pretty big risk.

That is not quite true.
They can ask you to leave - but they can do that for any reason not covered by protected characteristics anyway.
There is no strict permission or prohibition in place to begin with. Dash Cams would be a nightmare if so.

He went to meet up with his sperm kids (long story that I dont want to get into). Shot some footage for his channel while he was there. Hes done this other times too like going to Australia and Germany I believe for an assignment for his day job at a radio show and shoots extra content on the side.

The are called 'trolleys' in Britain. 'Narc' isn't used much either.

Cart narc should expand into more countries. He is doing a public service.

Not putting away your own cart is one thing but expecting her to put away someone else's cart is a stretch. Start throwing magnets on anyone who doesn't round up all the carts in the parking lot. He could even put one really far, kind of hidden and then call his victim lazybones. Sweet.

Most people just ignore him, and that makes for uninteresting videos.

So he has to keep pushing and provoking until he eventually finds someone who reacts. Even if, as in this case, it wasn't even their trolley.
