I've heard certain therapies can bring it back, but before I do that, what are some things I should eat or try before I get my sense of taste and smell back? I'm already pretty adventurous and will say yes to most things. Still haven't tried durian or jackfruit

Jackfruit is pretty much unanimously agreed to be delicious. It's very sweet, kind of like peach from what I remember.

Durian smells and tastes like what a hot dumpster smells like.

Uh... did you really? Because I lost most of my sense of taste for about 6 months after a throat surgery like 10 years ago. It was one of the worst points of my life.

That could be a double edged sword for me.

On one hand I'd eat healthy. Might as well

On the other I'd be able to drink the most potent alcohol like it was water.
