I live in Australia so it's winter now. I prefer Winter and Autmn. I detest summer. I don't like dressing down, nor do I like the heat. Summer makes me tired, agitated and moody.

Winter in Nebraska is too cold and it's grey and ick and the sun doesn't come up until like 9 am.

Summer in Nebraska is too hot and there are tornadoes and the sun doesn't set until after 9 pm.

Spring and fall each last like 5 minutes.

January 14th it was -16F (-26.7C). Wind chills were near -40.

June 12th it was 94F (34.4C) (And we're not even in the hottest part of the year yet)

Fall used to be my favourite, but now it's spring

...as for seasoning, I don't understand basic black pepper. I just can't figure out its flavour profile. The only thing it seems to work on is eggs to make the vinegar in the ketchup pop a little more.

They are all good in their own way I guess.
Fall is probably the worst cause it's the rainiest. It gets cold, but you can't ski yet. It can be pretty though.

I hate heat with crushing humidity, but I still like summer. Just not the super bad days. Spring is my favorite odor season. The smell of new plants lifting through the rich dead leaves & flowers blooming is an awesome smell. Fall smells good, too. I love the smell of a big thunderstorm after a hot sunny day.

It gets cold here in Tasmania.

Summer can rot though. I use to share bus rides to work and there were people who reeked of sweat, old meat, rotten fish, etc.

if you are in skyplague zone like I am, you can get black ice combined with coal ice, which turns asphalt into semi-permanent ice on top of that (it gets chipped up pretty quickly in the spring tho)
