I know Phil sucks as a human being and the people who obsessively have to keep tabs on the guy use every angle to attack him, but going after his seemingly passive wife is just a really bad look. As far as I can see, she doesn't do anything at all to deserve it except being associated with/stuck with Phil, which is already bad enough. She directly benefits from Phil's scamming and the idea that she's unaware and/or not okay with it is ridiculous. She knows he scams his audience and she's at the best, fine with it, if not actively encouraging it. While it's fun to laugh at her not wanting to do co-op with her husband, it is essentially her refusing to give a promised product to the audience that is putting a roof over her head and food on her table. More than anything I pity her. Her weight is ultimately her responsibility, but I 100% believe Phil is uber controlling and psychologically abusing her which leads her to overeating. The way he talks about her is disgusting. From what little he says it essentially seems she has "chores" that she must do while he does nothing and her being ill or feeling unwell is not a defense. I enjoy his basic misunderstanding of SF6 frame data though and calling it garbage when he does an 8 frame start up reversal when the Cammy does a St. LP and is only negative 2.
