Twll me how i know you don't deal with ads on a daily basis. Most sites have ads that open multi pop up windows, banners that cover the whole screen, some that take you elsewhere once you try to go back on mobile and so on. Any scummy site that uses any of that garbage deserves to die.

It's up to the people producing the content to decide if/how they wish to be paid for it.

They can set up paywalls, go on Patreon, sell merch, produce sponsored content, or use ads. If they want to force the ads, they can restrict the site to those without ad blockers.

If they choose to do none of those things, that's (literally) their business.
