There's no denying that this site is slowly dying. It's a pity. Despite some trolls and haters, I always liked engaging in gaming discussions on classic-style boards.

I have no clue where to go in a few years... I really don't like the Reddit board style, but I also don't want to move to another small board, which is at the verge of dying.

How's Discord?

And what are your plans (if you have any)?

Reddit. I spend more time there than Gamefaqs already and have for quite some time.

Probably just gonna call it quite then, I have no desire to check out Reddit or any other online forum. Big part of the reason I still frequent GameFAQs is out of habit.

I need to find some place else. Since I don't talk to people outside of this place and I need human interaction. While I am twitter someone that is getting like Stromfront so I have backed off.

Maybe just talk to different chat bots and treat them as people. Or invest in one that has it own personality.

I'm already on Discord a lot, but I don't use it for general gaming discussion.

So I'd probably start looking for some solid Discord servers. Kinda sucks, I like this place.

Id say Id miss this place but the game boards I used to frequent are far from active nowadays.

I remember when games were still separated by version. If FFX/PS2 was quiet Id go check FFX&X-2 HD/PS4 instead. Now theyve merged them all into a single inactive board.

Into the place beyond seeing, nowhere and everywhere. BloodMoon7 only exists on Gamefaqs. There is no BloodMoon7, they aren't real. You have to let me go, the accident wasn't your fault CE.

First I'll go to da CE discord, ask whats happening or if its just me. Den when dey confirm CE is dead, i cry for a few hours and den go to reddit and see if anyone made a cool CE subreddit not a racist one

Community specific discord servers

Probably nowhere. I really dont like the Reddit format. I didnt intentionally seek out this kind of discussion board here, I would occasionally come to boards for specific games or to see what people are saying about a movie/show and boredom led me to look at other boards one day.

Is ign boards still a thing

Back to 4chan with me, even though I find less and less of that damn place usable thanks to the ever increasing contamination from /pol/ tourists.

i honestly do not like reddit. this is my only social life on the internet, and i don't plan on making one anywhere else. if the plug is pulled on gamefaqs, then i'm out.

Been expecting it for years.

Reddit's killing 3rd party apis which is going to make it unusable for me. It really sucks, so I guess SA and resetera since everywhere else is dead.

It would be bad for my health and work environment because I would spend more time on Instagram/TikTok looking at girls

Might be forced to give reddit a try I can see myself not using message boards again if this site goes belly up in the future. Sad thing to think about.
