Does that include tax or not?

though it also costs different amounts to run a restaurant depending on where you are, so it makes some sense

In my area the "richer" areas tend to have higher prices on the menu than other areas.

McDonald's will literally have different pricing a few blocks apart depending on if the location is franchised or corporate-owned.

stuff(including transport) costs more in certain areas

I don't think fast food places would have a chance of being profitable here in Alaska if they didn't charge more, given the shipping/operating costs.
