cjsdowg 05/30/23 4:17:07 PM #1:	As I grow older, I realize that most sitcom protagonists are very awful people. In shows like Seinfeld and Sunny, thats the point. We laugh at how terrible they are. But in shows where we are supposed to root for the main characters, we see the same thing. For example, Ive been watching Scrubs and everyone except Turk (who still has flaws) is just the worst. Kelso is more decent than most of them. Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother is a creepy and annoying guy. Homer strangles his son and we are supposed to find it funny. Bart is a troublemaker, but Lisa is also a horrible person. Sheldon Cooper is a nightmare. Jim Halpert isa bully if he did all that stuff to someone who wasn't different, and he looked like Roy. For some reason, sitcoms think there needs to be a balance of good and bad behavior. This is just as bad as their mindset of any changes needing to revert back the status quo. --- --I understand your opinion.
