People really have a hate boner for Texans on this board lol. During this years freeze in Austin I had to explain to someone claiming we deserved to lose power for voting in republicans that don't anything that Austin is as blue as a city gets and that we were losing power not because of our state grid, but because entire trees were falling and downing power lines throughout the city.

Texas' major cities are left-leaning for the most part. Once you get outside of the cities it gets super red, but plenty of states are like that.

Seriously this. They may impeach him for the other shit but messing with someone's vote is a big deal that should be punished harshly. It's taking away someone's fundamental right to say "I exist and this is what I think". It's the most basic way someone can participate in their society.
