yes, IMO.

I really enjoyed WW & TP, but Okami resonated more with me - beautiful visuals, humor, interesting take on Japanese mythology, and just overall good writing, IMO.

Yes, and even though I'm correct, you might want to note that I've never played Twilight Princess.

It's up there with my favorite Zelda game, LttP...so I guess it might depend on where TP and WW fall on your list?

Twilight Princess stinks, it's definitely better than that. Honesty I would say it's on par with WW

I don't think so, honestly. At best it's on par with. I really enjoyed the game but there are a lot of sections that really feel as though they slog. Even the Triforce Hunt in WW which is heralded as easily the worst and laziest part of the game wasn't that bad.

It was great though and I'd love a proper sequel.

WW was at least visually cute, if anything

never played TP. I have played WW. never beat it tho because i lost my save file on it.

got more than 100 hours out of okami . platinumed it twice on ps3 (used two diff accounts). then i got it on pc and did 60 hours in a single playthrough altho never beat the game. at like the 20 hour mark i decided to level up the thief skill (it does massive damage after a certain point) and basically just drew a line from the poncle/amaterasu to the green/red scrolls for like 40 hours lmao. I never did max it out tho because i got too bored of doing that. I only got it powerful enough to 2 or 3 shot those canine warriors (they seemed to have more hp than every enemy in the last part of the game excluding the final boss ofc). i was already one shotting the kamui devil trial guys at that point too as a baseline. Idk how many more hours I would have had to spend to 1 shot the canine warriors.

anyways idk if okami is a better game than tp or even wind waker. im actually pretty burnt out on okami now and don't even want to play it anymore

I love okami. The comparison to tp was apt at the time because of the wolf and the mild puzzles in okami's "dungeons" but okami has a lot more focus on combat than puzzles, the inverse of Zelda. It does have a lot of exploration though

I rebought okami for the switch but it turns out even that version has the end credits removed so it'll just sit there in my collection gathering dust

This honestly. While I love Okami, it doesn't have the same polish as Zelda games. Plus the hand holding dialog that you can't speed up is offputting.

Okami is the one single game I can think of, that goes on too long.
I played it again on Switch fairly recently, and I think there's still ten hours past the ice-boat, where I gave up.

I'd recommend the Switch port, especially if you import a cart.

Wind eaker is best of the 3

Initially i said tp was better than okami, then for years i turned that around, now i think im back to tp. Both are near equal and have the same problems

All 3 are spectacular though. That said I dont know what playing them today is like
