Which version are you playing?

I been playing the PSP/GBA stuff. People say the 3D version of 4 is hard, maybe they're right, but it's so wrong to say this one a cakewalk. After the final boss, I can say it's easily the hardest of what I played so far.

I don't know if I was underleveled throughout the game or the 1 speed slider somehow made things more difficult.

The 3D version of 4 is 'harder', but not really. My main complaint about it is that it's SLOWER... a LOT slower.

The CPU Core boss is unfairly hard on the 3D version though since they didn't adjust its speed correctly and it can strike your party as soon as the battle starts instead of after the cores act... meaning the core can use its ultimate laser bullshit on you twice before you take out a core instead of just one; and because of that you need to heal... which brings it up to three rounds of death lasers you have to weather instead of normally one.

I have the GBA version and freakin loved it

I beat the SNES version of FFIV to death last century. I heard they had made that version easier.
