Got woken up at like 5:20 by a terrible pain in the lower right side of my abdominal area. Thought my appendix was trying to kill me, but it turned out to be a 2mm kidney stone. :P --- https://www.youtube.com/user/Heartomaton Heartomaton for President 2028. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah, I'll be fine. As painful as it's definitely going to be, it's not going to compare to the last time I had stones. That one was actually too big to pass and was blocking the flow of piss, so they "had to" shove a laser up my dickhole and blast it apart, after which I got the delightful experience of passing the broken shards. One at a time. Slowly. Over three days. So this one being a single, unbroken one that's "small" enough to pass by itself, it's still gonna hurt like a motherfucker, but it's a one-and-done deal this time. It's the sodee-pop that did this to me, same as last time. But also, just like last time, I have no plans to stop. --- https://www.youtube.com/user/Heartomaton Heartomaton for President 2028. ... If you dont mind me asking, how bad are your soda habits? What kind of soda do you drink and how often do you drink it? I used to be really good about not drinking too much soda, but the last two years or so Ive picked it back up and Ive been drinking lots of it, almost daily. Mostly because of my easy access to it as I work at a movie theater and get free soda anytime Im there. Ive never gotten a kidney stone yet but everything Ive heard about them seem like pure hell I would never ever want to experience. I guzzled that shit twice a day for both my stones episodes until they came out. There are different types of kidney stones. Theyre made of different things. They each require your doctor to analyze them and then give you advice. The only universal help is "drink more water". The lemon juice remedy especially should only be followed by a doctor as it can actually contribute to the formation of certain types of stones. Anyway, all things considered, 2mm isn't the worst TC. I hope it passes quickly. I've had several stones in my life due to my body not processing calcium quite right. It's not a fun experience. On the plus side, it makes you very aware of where your kidney is. So it's easier to describe to a doctor. --- I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness. ... DavidZ2844 posted... If you dont mind me asking, how bad are your soda habits? What kind of soda do you drink and how often do you drink it? Before my first kidney stones years ago, soda (specifically Dr. Pepper) made up about 85% (ass-pulled percentage, mind you) of my liquid intake. Nowadays, I still have at least one individual size 16.9oz bottle of Coca-Cola a day, but I do drink a lot more water in comparison to before. It's flavored with those per-bottle flavoring packets (sweet tea, specifically) though, so it's not exactly as healthy as just straight up water. I usually try to drink two of those in between soda bottles, but I don't always keep to that in either direction. Some days I have more than the usual amount of soda, some days it's flavored water all day. DavidZ2844 posted... Ah ok, do you drink normal or Diet Coke for that daily bottle? It's negligible for most stuff of Diet vs regular. There's more caffeine in Diet which will pull a little bit more water out of you, but overall cola in that respect is a wash. The issue comes more from drinking it instead of water, rather than the dehydrating aspects. One of the acids that's in both types of Colas messes with how you process calcium, which is an issue with most types of stone formation. If you must drink soda, Sprite or something is better in regards to stones. Water is obviously king, but habits are hard to break. Even then, there's genetic predispositions involved too. Some people outright can't stay hydrated enough to eliminate stone formation. --- I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness. ... Copied to Clipboard!
