Yep. That and propulsion cannon are essential.

technically you dont need propulsion cannon if youre really good at jumping. But I just make it cause its way easier and more fun to have

I tried this game. I have difficulty orienting myself, and surfacing is fucking terrifying because I feel like whenever I dive I'm going to have what's there change.

Yes. But Ive only really seen glitched playthroughs where they sink through the floor

Subnautica is a great game. Below Zero is a decent game but it feels more like a dlc than a full sequel. Easy plats though.

It is possible to beat the game in like 2 hours, but it requires extensive knowledge of the lay-out of the game and having some luck of running into the right resources (as they don't always spawn in the exact same spots).

I've never tried it myself, but I do have a general idea of how I'd go about it. I prefer to take my sweet time though.

Realistically most people will probably need three hours at least, unless they meticulously planned their course of action like those speedrunners on Youtube.
In Creative Mode it can even be done in less than an hour, but that's not exactly challenging and more meant for goofing around after you've already finished the game on another difficulty.

Bump. Probably start this myself for the first time in the next week or so.

I have the MK1 ingredients

I went in blind during my run, it took me embarrassingly long to create a mental map of the world. That and I didn't use beacons because I didn't know what they were and didn't make many bases to take advantage of.

Still one of my top games of all time. I'm positive I still haven't seen everything there is to see

No, those are parts and upgrades for a different vehicle, the Cyclops. Keep scanning around for the rest of the blueprints.
