It was a PS2 game that got ported to the Wii, and is now ported to the Switch with online play. So the graphics look very cartoonist and dated, but that's not the point. Dubbed the "friendship destroying" game, I think only SSBB and maybe Mario Kart git more play on my Wii with this game. It's basically a board game RPG hybrid, with job and class leveling, exp. gain, boss battles, etc., over a board game board that is massive, with items, magic spells, loot, caves and hidden dungeons, etc. scattered about. The normal way to play is set the game to end in X amount of "weeks", and whoever has the most net value is gold wins, which can be gained in a variety if ways. But beware! You can attack your fellow players at will, and defeating them in battle means you can steal their gear, rename their character (often something very offensive), and more. Best played in person so everyone can witness the bullshit together. It has a decently single player mode and campaign, too, but playing with other people in the same room is the real joy. Think Mario Party/Fortune Street, but on a much bigger scale with RPG mechanics. --- PotD's resident Film Expert. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Slap Mario characters on it and give us a new one with online play. It's a pretty fun game.
