Cut this shit EXTREMELY close, was just trying to use my tokens and farm relics while under leveled, but managed to pull it off. Trailblazer died in phase 3 but Dan Heng and Welt were able to delay the boss so much while Nat kept them alive. My damage was low so it was a real slugfest and my blessings were pretty trash too, I imagine if you have a debuffs cleanse blessing the fight gets a lot easier.

About how far into the game do I have to get before I can switch to fire trailblazer?

Tingyun is great. I wish she would basic attack sometimes in auto mode. And I wish her skill didn't sound identical to... a computer sound effect that I can't pinpoint.

Oof, didn't expect to need two teams as soon as Memory 11. I have enough characters leveled for that, but I don't even have good 4* light cones for all of them... Guess I'll build some of the lower-level people I have good light cones for? That seems okay, I haven't really used Serval or Dan Heng and I have their light cones.

I like the combat better in this, I'm pretty sure.

I actually got Tingyun. Should probably give her a try. Levelling is weird, though. You don't get much XP from battling.

I prefer the combat in COTC as opposed to the original game, as even with character customization being a lot more limited, the two row party and abundance of situational passive skills makes the battles way more dynamic and gives you a lot of customization in how you actually run your party.

If Octopath 2 combined both together that would be great.

I'm trailblaze 33 but have ran out of things to do and need lvl34 to continue the story :/ I can't beat world 5 currently to get the 600 xp for that so not really sure what to do

I've done 40 pulls post pity...I don't think there's enough jade for me to get 50 more pulls :/ rip Seepe

If you don't wanna spend fuel and don't have any unfinished sidequests, I don't think there's anything you can do but wait for more dailies and more trailblaze power? I used a bunch of my fuel but it seems like people say to save it till 40.

I'm 60 pulls post-pity on her banner, 140 total. I can probably squeeze out 10-20 more but it's going to be rough. I have a couple of sidequests and missing chests in the last world to clean up, but other than that a lot of my remaining gems are locked behind the mirror and SU levels that I need to increase my EL to beat.

I'm at 71 second pity on her so I should hopefully get her but could miss out if I end up at the bad end of pity count

If you're really desperate for a boost, I'm told that using energy on SU 5 and 6 (the ones with the 5-star relics) is about as efficient as rest of the level 40 rewards. 6 in particular has some good offensive and defensive relics. That's what I've been doing while waiting to rank up.

Hit 40, very glad that the equilibrium quest was in Jarilo-VI because I havent finished the story yet. I have 10 characters at level 50 with most traces upgraded, and based on how much it costs to do that at 60, I dont think theyre all gonna make it.

Im at 29 and havent even finished a lot of stuff still, but my March is lv40 now. Cant ascend her further yet, but Ill get there.

How are you 40 and haven't finished jarilo? I'm 35 and have finished all quests with all treasure chests and I had to burn a bunch of fuel

oh Ive finished Jarilo, I just havent finished the next place and was worried itd be in a zone I havent unlocked yet

Hit rank 35 and was able to get Seele on pull 75 and Something Irreplaceable from my normal summon pity.

I've been thinking of trying this game. Is there any reason not to play it on PC? I'm pretty sure that's the only device I have that it would actually work on because my phone is many years old.

I mean your 2 options are PC or mobile and the account is the same for both. I'd imagine PC is a lot better to play on than mobile, I only use mobile because I lack a mouse or controller for my laptop and you can't remap movement / camera stuff so it made the controls ass for me. I'm sure it's fine unless you're in a niche scenario like me

One question: How plentiful are these EXP boosting items? Should I be saving them to use on better characters than the ones they start you with or should I basically be leveling all my characters as much I can just because the game throws these at you like candy?

You get a lot of them, I've got 8 chars at level 50. I've heard leveling from 50 to 60 is tougher though

Once you get your characters to level 40+ it starts being prohibitively expensive to level characters and you will need to start farming for them specifically, but until then the game is throwing plenty at you.

I just got mine to 50 and taking like 3 or 4 characters from 50 to 60 would wipe out my entire stock of purple books

At first, I thought the character switcher in Simulated Universe wasn't worth the time. But SU5 log:
* Boss weak to Physical, Wind, Imaginary
* Start with Gepard / Natasha / Asta / Sushang and Abundance (because I heard it was strong). Gepard is level 60, the rest 50
* Before the first elite, Asta didn't seem like she was pulling her weight, so I brought in Yanqing because he's 60
* Before the second elite, I'm like... Abundance is strong, I don't think I need Natasha at all. Gepard will keep us from dying, and this constant path resonance will fix problems. Join me, Dan Heng.
* I now have my only Wind character and my only non-Natasha Physical character on the team. I don't have Sampo or Clara or Bronya or any of the other Physical/Wind people I'm forgetting, and I obviously don't have Welt.
* Before the last boss, it's like, Yanqing is useless. Maybe I fought an Encounter or something, but he can't break anything, and it takes so long to break when he always uses skill points. Enter... Physical Trailblazer!? Apparently, you can switch even though you're in this thing! I don't have this built, but I get the light cone to level 30 and slap together some relics. Put me in coach
* 60% into the last boss's first life, I am bored and hit auto. Gepard / PhysMC / Sushang / Dan Heng emerge unscathed! On to SU6

I've tried SU5 like 10 times and couldn't get it. That was before I got Seele though. I figure I'll have to wait until I can get some level 60s

I managed to get Seele on my 78th pull, which was actually the first ticket of a 10 ticket pull so I actually got another Natasha on that same 10 spot.

That was my 5th Natasha (and you get a free one while playing the story) so I'm one away from having all her Eidolons.

Finally broke and decided to try this. Finished the first 2 simulation missions with the wierd, Disco Elysium-esque dialogue before stopping.

Enjoying it a lot! Really hoping thar console version is out sooner rather than later though, it drain my phone at the same speed as the phone charges, and boy does it heat up.

Guess I should look into beginners recommendations so I don't waste this currency. Surprised it's been so stingy with early pulls here, not what I'm used to, but I barely touched Genshin so maybe this is normal.

Randomly got Bronya off a standard 10-pull, at like 20 pity! And I've got 10k jade saved for 80 pity on Jing Yuan's banner in a couple days. Am I rich now? I only had enough EXP books to get Bronya to 25!
