Tingyun and Sushang are the only 4*s I'm missing, feels awful

For 4*s Im missing Hook, Pela, Qingque, Sushang and Tingyun, but pull wise all Ive done is the 5 multi discount and 2 multis on Standard. Saving my premium tickets. For now Kafka, Silver Wolf and whatever unnamed is on the light cone Trend of the Universal Market because she looks amazing.

The 4*s I'm missing are Arlan, Hook, and Sampo, and I could not care less about any of them. Sampo's voice is so annoying to me that I might be actively disappointed if I get him over another 4*. His kit looks okay, though?

I'm also getting zero use out of my random E3 Qingque.

I don't have Sushang or Arlan. Honestly, though, I'm super set on my roster. Sushang, Bailu, and Welt are the only three units I would bother building if I magically had them right now. And even Bailu I would probably just put off for a while since I have Natasha fully decked out in Traces and such.

Just got Tingyun...also I've gotten 3 Hooks and thats the only char Im not using. So lame lol

Just reached equilibrium 3. Simulated world 3 boss still beat me after I got to 59 and did some talent upgrades. Gonna need the light cone upgrades too I guess, had been hesitant as wasn't sure I was using the right ones.

Up to 59 on second Seele pity and 64 on normal banner. So should get some extra 5 stars soon at least. Then it's saving time.

I caught up on the story and it really pauses in an awkward spot, huh? Oh well. I was hoping it would at least finish off the second world but I guess that's for the next patch or two.

I'm like 30 or 40 into second Seele pity so I'm gonna have to actually try to collect gems now that the story is finished.

So it's announced that Luocha (Abundance + Imaginary) and Silver Wolf (Nihility + Quantum) are the next two banners after Jing Yuan (Erudition + Lightning like a Serval+). I'm not sure what order they're in. But now I'm like... do I actually use my 80 pity on Jing Yuan, or do I save it for those two? Erudition is just DPS and I have Yanqing. Is it important to have an AoE DPS too? People seem to think Himeko is weak, does that mean Jing Yuan will be weak? Is there just no way to know until they're officially out and people run the numbers?

Or do the numbers just not matter? Do we know if the people running them are actually running them properly? Or can you just make whatever work, and I should pull on Jing Yuan because I like that he and Yanqing could be buddies and I like all the 4*s on the banner?

I think I've talked myself into pulling on Jing Yuan, but tell me if I'm wrong...

The numbers aren't ever really settled until release or even afterwards if people figure out new things, so the best advice is always to pull for who you like. Pulling for 4*s is generally unreliable so it kind of depends on your situation.

People can get an impression of the characters from the beta though, and HSR had a pretty long one. The rumors I've heard are that Silver Wolf is supposed to be a REALLY good support, and Jing Yuan is a pretty good AOE unit that doesn't have as many issues with single target as Himeko does. Luocha I'm not sure about but there's a lack of healers and Imaginary units currently so I imagine (lol) he could have high initial value by filling gaps for people's rosters.

edit: Oh one thing to be aware of is that the most difficult content, if you even want to bother with that, will use two teams. Between that and element requirements, redundant units of a role probably have value

I just got Natasha to E6 so I feel obligated to use the Harmacist now. Have her at 2412 HP right now at 50 which is a decent chunk more than my Gepard

That means your current pity is gone, but you are guaranteed to get Seele if you get another 5* on that banner.

I doubt I'll be able to get enough rails in a week :/ oh well

If it works like Genshin it means your next 5* character will be the new one regardless of the premium banner, but I dunno if it copies Genshin in that way yet since were only on banner 1

Wow almost thought I got another 5* character, but it was a 5* Light Cone of Bailu. Seems like it will be nice to throw onto Nat for now though. I got 2 other 4* Light Cones in that same summon, but not a single character so that was sad

I think I've had one pull with multiple 4*s so far, so that's a dope pull

Preservation with a tank formation is ridiculous in simulated universe. Ran Gepard + Stelle + Natasha + Serval (for breaks) and the final boss literally killed himself on reflect damage from preservation buffs. He would AoE and it would do over 50% of his HP then I'd path resonance for the rest of his bar. Next phase he would do the same thing. He did zero mechanics until phase 3 where it prolonged the fight by about 20 seconds.

Took literally no damage and some of my team didn't even take an action.

I really need to diversify my teams. I'm approaching TB40 and I think am gonna have to park it there before ascension level 3. It's already pretty grindy to raise up multiple units so I've only been investing heavily in units I like a lot.

So fine...I GUESS I'll take Gepard off the bench...

Those 4 plus Dan Heng are the only ones I have leveled / invested in. I have Bailu but I am assuming E6 Natasha is better than E0 Bailu. Although from what people have said, you need multiple teams later on anyway. Probably like the genshin spiral abyss team split

Does this game have a singular main storyline with an ending? Or does it go on forever to get you to keep spending money on it?

The story for now only goes up to a certain point until a future update adds more.

I'm not sure I should try to run this on my laptop. It meets recommended requirements but it gets really hot immediately and runs poorly.

The latter, but it's episodic with self-contained stories within an overarching plot. There's a little tutorial story, one full episode, and most(?) of a second right now. I have no idea how fast they plan on completing and adding new story areas though.

I have hit my pity on the standard banner and received my 5* that gets to pair with Yanqing... drumroll... it's Gepard? Can I do anything with this? Gepard > Fire MC?

Just from initial success this game will likely last quite a while like Hoyoverses other titles Im aware of at least. Bringing this to console will expand the audience some more too. So many people seem to have tried this out because of how big Genshin Impact is. Hoyoverse might start a trend of more of these games launching on consoles

Gepard is dope. Just full-autoed SU3 with Gepard / Tingyun / Sushang / Yanqing and Preservation blessings.

I haven't been able to full auto any of them but I did just take out SU4 with Himeko/Dan Heng/Welt/Nat and Hunt blessings. Had also brought Fire MC along but was able to assemble a ton of shield blessing that made her unnecessary. I'm starting to get a feel for the blessing and it makes a huge difference, the boss of that one is rough.

With SU5 unlocked I can start getting 5* artifacts so that's nice.

No. The MC is like Genshin and can change elements eventually. The other alternative is fire and they use a sword in that form. It's tied behind story.

You also don't have to use the MC outside of 1 mandatory story fight. So you can just not bother using them too.

Personally I still use the bat form because it looks baller as fuck but the fire version of the MC is undoubtedly better from a tier list perspectives

My bat version seems better he does so much damage with his Ult. I've seen up to 4k

I mean the fire version is preservation so isn't used for the damage.

Bat MC seems ok if you don't have Sushang like me, I've been coping with them as my main phys unit when I need to. Not as generically reliable for main DPS as Dan Heng though.

Yeah Ive got gepard already so I dont really need another tank. If I don't get Seele I feel like I'm stuck with bat MC lol
